HOW DOES A FRAME SLIDER WITH IMPACT SHOCK ABSORBER PROTECT YOU?
Most fall frame sliders are rigid accessories that transmit the energy of the impact entirely to the structure of the motorbike. The element affected varies according to the type of frame slider assembled, but the consequences can range from a broken fairing, to the chassis or even the engine assembly. In any case, these are key components of the motorbike, which are always very expensive to repair, to the point where it is not even worth having the motorbike repaired.
OTOM’s frame sliders add a key component to dissipate impact energy in the event of an accident; their exclusive damping system absorbs shocks continuously, instead of transmitting impacts directly to the motorcycle chassis, as happens with conventional bumpers. This patented system has been tested in laboratory and track tests with different motorcycle models.
The frame slider is manufactured in Spain (Europe) with high quality materials; a high resistance block, with carbon steel spring and ISO quality certificate, oven painted, able to reduce the impact in the fall in a constant way, even of a motorcycle of more than 300 Kg.
The adapter for each motorbike model is sold separately. If you already have a conventional frame slider installed, you might not need to buy our adapter and can use yours, simply by attaching our frame slider using a screw to your old adapter or installation anchorage. We recommend consulting the instruction manual.
